Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in 1962. She is a famous American actor. Following her film debut during the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack of actors and starred on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy was born in the United States and is both an actress as well as an author. Her film career began at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of applause. Rick Rosenthal's film also starred Sean Penn, Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Following her first film was released in 1985, she starred in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable films made by high school students ever made. Although the film's budget was just $1 million, it made more than $50 million in profits. She also began appearing on a number of television shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. The show was for teenagers that started airing in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues were some other television shows that the actress appeared on. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy received numerous awards in 2005 for her performance. She also was honored with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
